Frost and rain: weather forecast for May 8

Today, on May 8, another wave of cool air from the northern latitudes will come to Ukraine. It will be felt most strongly in the northern and most western regions. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the Ukrainian Weather Center.
At night, frosts on the soil surface are expected to reach 0…-3°C. The air temperature will fluctuate between 1…6°C.
During the day, it will be cool in these regions – the thermometer will rise only to 9…14°C. In the rest of the country, it will be slightly warmer at night – 6… 11°C, and during the day, real spring weather is expected with temperatures of 15… 20°C.
Most regions will remain in the zone of slightly elevated atmospheric pressure, so no significant precipitation is expected. The only exceptions are the Carpathian region, the southeast of the country, and the southern regions at night, where atmospheric fronts will bring short-term rains.
The wind is mostly from the north, moderate – 5-10 m/s.
