Terms of the “National Cashback” program have changed

Starting from November 22, the list of goods and services that can be used to spend money received under the National Cashback program has been changed. These changes are caused by the need to synchronize its work with the state program “Winter Support”.
This was reported by the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
The Ministry has listed the categories of goods and services for which the funds accumulated on the National Cashback card can be spent.
The funds can be used for the following categories of goods and services:
- utilities
- postal services;
- food in stores and supermarkets;
- medicines and medical devices;
- books and other printed materials;
- charity, including donations to the Armed Forces and other charitable purposes.
“Some of the updated categories will be available immediately: you can spend money on medicines, medical devices, books and other printed materials right now,” the statement said.
“The update is related to the peculiarities of the Winter Support policy, in particular, the payment of UAH 1000 for all citizens, which will also be transferred to the National Cashback card,” the Ministry explains.
Therefore, it was decided to unify the categories of expenses in both programs. As a result, both programs will work correctly, and state support funds will be used primarily for basic and necessary expenses.
The updated spending conditions will be in effect until June 30, 2026.
More than 7.5 million Ukrainians have already participated in the National Cashback program and received over UAH 4 billion in payments. More than 1,870 Ukrainian manufacturers in various industries have joined the program.
Currently, cashback of 10% is accrued for purchases of about 400 thousand Ukrainian goods registered in the program at partner outlets.
The goods can be checked using a scanner in the Diia app or on the Made in Ukraine website.
To participate in the program, a buyer needs to register in the Diia app, choose one of the 20 banks participating in the program, and open a National Cashback card.
When applying for a card, you must agree to the processing of transactions, and after opening it, check in Diia whether the card is selected correctly.
