Today, July 12, the president announced a reshuffle of the government and specifically mentioned that personnel changes would also affect law enforcement agencies. He announced this on his Telegram channel. However, he did not mention any names, agency names, or details, according to
This turned out to be enough for the Ukrainian political Telegram community to begin piecing together the future government lineup within a few hours.
The first to provide specifics was People’s Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak. According to him, Serhiy Koretskyi is the leading contender for the post of prime minister, while Yulia Svyrydenko may be appointed Ukraine’s ambassador to the United States.

Zheleznyak went on to write that the changes will be much more far-reaching than a simple replacement of the head of government.
“Our sources say there will be a number of additional resignations in the near future. Regarding law enforcement agencies: There are currently rumors that the head of the SBU will be nominated. And that a replacement for the head of the State Bureau of Investigation is being prepared.
I want to emphasize that these are just ‘rumors’ for now. As of now, I have no confirmation that this will happen in the near future,” the politician wrote.
In parallel with Zheleznyak’s activity on Telegram, the segment of anonymous political Telegram channels saw a flurry of announcements regarding the dismissals and appointments of security officials.
A number of Telegram channels immediately reported that Oleksandr Poklad could become the new head of the SBU. Reports also emerged regarding the upcoming dismissal of DBR Director Oleksiy Sukhachov.
None of these appointments has been officially confirmed yet.
In addition, a meeting of the “Servants of the People” parliamentary faction has been scheduled for next Tuesday, where it is clear that all personnel issues—both regarding the government and the security sector—will be discussed.
One more detail
In recent years, personnel decisions have increasingly rarely come as a surprise. First, there are cautious hints from lawmakers or political journalists; then Telegram channels pick up on the topic; and only after that do official decrees appear.
This time, however, things unfolded differently.

Whether all the names and social media predictions will come true remains to be seen.
