There were no signs of illness: Media outlets reported on the circumstances surrounding Senator Graham’s death

Lindsey Graham, a member of the Republican Party who was elected to the Senate in 2003 and was a close political ally of U.S. President Donald Trump, has died at the age of 71. NBC News reported on the circumstances of Graham’s death, according to [Komersant].
According to police radio recordings obtained by the network, emergency responders arrived at the politician’s home in Washington after receiving a report of a cardiac arrest.
Photos from the scene released by NBC News show paramedics carrying a person on a stretcher from Graham’s home to a waiting ambulance. Police officers and fire trucks were also present at the scene.
A senior staff member of Graham told NBC News early Sunday that there were no signs that the lawmaker was feeling unwell before his death. He was scheduled to appear on NBC News’ “Meet the Press” on Sunday.
It was previously reported that Senator Graham died following a brief and sudden illness.
