On the night of May 18, Russian forces launched a massive drone attack on Dnipro. The attack sparked a fire in the city. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian", citing a Telegram post by Oleksandr Hanzha, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.
“In the Dnipro district, the Russians struck a warehouse where pyrotechnic products were stored. A fire broke out there,” he wrote.
Preliminary reports indicate there were no casualties, Ganza added.
According to the Ukrainian Air Force, the attack on Dnipro began on the evening of May 17. Drones were flying toward Dnipro starting around 8:00 p.m., and an hour later—and even later—entire groups of drones were flying toward the city. The attack continued into the next day.
As a reminder, on the night of May 17, the occupiers also attempted to attack Dnipro with drones. As a result of the enemy attacks, fires broke out in the city, and private homes and a business were damaged.
