Dnipropetrovsk Region Has Been Liberated from the Occupiers — Bezugla Confirmed the Success of the Ukrainian Armed Forces

Ukrainian People’s Deputy Mariana Bezugla, in a comment to the publication "Komersant Ukrainian" , confirmed reports that the Dnipropetrovsk region had been liberated from the occupiers.
The MP reported that she had just returned from another trip to the front lines—her first since the high-profile personnel changes in the top military command—and described what, in her opinion, was actually happening on the front lines and how the former leadership had tried to hide the truth from her.
“This was my first visit to the front lines since the new Commander-in-Chief was appointed. I had to deal not only with physical danger from shelling and drones, but also with efforts by Syrsky and his inner circle to prevent me from obtaining information about their abuses, their inappropriate orders, and what is actually happening,” the MP stated.
Mariana Bezuhla emphasized that the catastrophic situation in the Donetsk region was the result of direct mistakes and the misallocation of resources.
“Problems with the defense of Donetsk Oblast were swept under the rug, while resources were diverted to other areas. For example, the enemy nearly captured Kostiantynivka, not to mention Pokrovsk or Selidove much earlier,” the lawmaker emphasized.
She added that she remembered this difficult period not only for the political battles but also for the intensive work to evacuate the civilian population, carried out jointly with National Police special forces under the leadership of Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko.
The lawmaker cited the swift resolution of the issue regarding the de-occupation of the Dnipropetrovsk region and the shift in the overall mood among the military as the main positive developments.
“On a practical note: finally, the situation regarding the Russian advance toward Kramatorsk has become a priority, and certain systemic changes are already underway. And the expulsion of the enemy from the Dnipropetrovsk region was brought to a logical conclusion very quickly, which made it possible to focus on other fronts. This required literally just a few decisions, which had been delayed and not adopted,” Bezuhla summarized.
In response to a follow-up question from "Komersant Ukrainian" as to whether the reports of the complete expulsion of Russian occupiers from the Dnipropetrovsk region were true, she replied briefly:
“Essentially, yes.”
She noted that following personnel changes in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, soldiers on the front lines finally breathed a sigh of relief.
“There’s a breath of fresh air in the troops now. Some of the commanders who were purged—whom I know and respect—have already returned from exile. In just a week, you can see a different dynamic in decision-making and a boost in morale. People feel less constrained. It’s hard to say what will happen next, but there is hope in the troops,” the MP concluded.
She posted a photo on Facebook that she took in Druzhkivka, noting that there is virtually not a single intact building left in the city.
