Additional registration for the 2026 National Multidisciplinary Test has begun: who can apply and how
11 May 11:55
In Ukraine, an additional registration period for participation in the supplementary sessions of the National Multidisciplinary Test began on May 11. It will run through May 16. Not all applicants will be able to apply; only certain categories are eligible. This was announced by the Ukrainian Center for Educational Quality Assessment, according to "Komersant Ukrainian"
Who can register for the additional NMT session
The additional registration period will run from May 11 through May 16, 2026. It is intended for applicants who have grounds for participating specifically in the additional sessions of the NMT.
Those who may register include:
- are currently in correctional facilities or pretrial detention centers pursuant to a court decision;
- were unable, for valid reasons, to register for the NMT during the main registration period;
- registered during the main period but were denied registration.
The UCEQA emphasizes: if an applicant was unable to register earlier for a valid reason, this must be confirmed with supporting documentation.
How to register for those who have not submitted documents previously
Applicants who have not previously created a personal account must use a special service on the website of the Ukrainian Center for Educational Quality Assessment. The service for new participants became available on May 11 at 9:00 a.m.
There are two ways to create a personal account:
- through the “Diya” app —in this case, some registration documents will be pulled in automatically;
- manually — you must enter your personal data yourself and upload scanned copies or photocopies of your documents.
After filling out all fields and uploading documents , you must click the “Submit for Processing” button . Without this, the regional center for educational quality assessment will not receive the data and will not be able to register the applicant.
What documents need to be attached
Those wishing to take the NMT during additional sessions must upload registration documents as well as additional supporting documents to their personal account.
You must include:
- a request to be allowed to take the NMT during the additional sessions;
- a document confirming a valid reason for missing the main registration period;
- scanned copies or photocopies of registration documents.
The list of valid reasons and the documents confirming them is published on the UCEQA website.
What to do if your registration has already been denied
Applicants who created a personal account during the main registration period but were denied do not need to re-register.
They should:
- log in to their existing personal account;
- review the reason for the rejection;
- correct any errors;
- replace or upload the required documents;
- resubmit the documents for processing.
Resubmitting the documents is mandatory. If you simply upload the files but do not click the “Submit for processing” button, the application will not be sent to the regional center.
Common mistakes during registration
The UCEQA draws attention to the errors that most often lead to applicants being rejected.
These include:
- uploading screenshots from “Dii” instead of full photocopies or scanned copies of documents;
- an incorrectly formatted certificate from the educational institution;
- the absence of the date of issue or the certificate number;
- the certificate lacks information stating that the student will complete their full general secondary education specifically in 2026;
- failure to provide a document explaining the reason for not including information about the RNOICP.
The last point may apply to individuals who have officially renounced their tax ID number, are residing abroad or in temporarily occupied territories, as well as foreigners not registered in Ukraine as taxpayers.
Why it’s important not to miss the deadline
The extended registration period will last only through May 16. The UCEQA warns: there will be no other opportunity to register for the 2026 National Multidisciplinary Test.
Therefore, applicants should prepare all documents in advance, verify the accuracy of their information in their personal account, and be sure to submit their application for processing.
When will the NMT-2026 sessions take place
The main NMT-2026 session is scheduled to take place from May 20 to June 25, and the additional session from July 17 to 24.
The additional sessions are intended specifically for those participants who, for valid reasons, cannot take the test during the main period or have legitimate grounds for participating in the additional stage.
What applicants should do now
Those eligible for additional registration should not wait until the last day to submit their documents. You should immediately check:
- whether personal data has been entered correctly;
- whether all documents have been uploaded in the correct format;
- whether there is confirmation of a valid reason;
- whether the “Submit for Processing” button has been clicked;
- whether there are any new messages in your personal account.
This is the last chance for certain categories of applicants to register for the 2026 National Multidisciplinary Test and qualify for the additional session.
