The dollar and euro are rising again: The NBU has updated its exchange rates as of April 30

The National Bank of Ukraine has set the official exchange rates for Thursday, April 30, 2026. After a brief decline the previous day, the dollar and the euro rose again: the U.S. currency gained 1 kopeck, while the euro gained 8 kopecks. This is evidenced by updated data on the regulator’s website, according to "Komersant Ukrainian"
According to the NBU, the official exchange rate for the dollar on April 30 is 44.0820 UAH, and for the euro—51.5803 UAH. Rounded, this is 44.08 UAH per dollar and 51.58 UAH per euro.
Dollar exchange rate as of April 30
On Thursday, April 30, the National Bank set the official dollar exchange rate at:
1 US dollar — 44.08 UAH
Compared to the previous day, the dollar rose by 1 kopeck. On April 29, the official exchange rate for the US currency was 44.07 UAH.
On the interbank currency market, as of 4:00 p.m., the hryvnia-to-dollar exchange rate stood at 44.08/44.11 UAH per dollar.
Euro exchange rate as of April 30
The European currency also returned to growth. The official euro exchange rate as of April 30 is:
1 euro — 51.58 UAH
Compared to the previous banking day, the euro gained about 8 kopecks. On April 29, the European currency was trading at around 51.50 UAH.
On the interbank market, euro quotes settled at 51.60/51.62 UAH per euro by 4:00 PM.

According to the NBU, the zloty was set at 12.1291 UAH as of April 30.
What happened to the exchange rate the day before
On April 29 , the dollar, euro, and zloty fell slightly after a previous rise. However, by April 30, the dollar had risen again, and the euro returned to a more significant increase.
On the cash market on April 29, the average dollar exchange rate at banks was about 44.30 UAH for selling, and the euro was about 51.95 UAH for selling.
