Rain in only three regions: Weather forecast for June 20–21

This weekend, June 20–21, mostly dry and warm weather is expected in Ukraine. Forecasters do not predict significant precipitation in most regions, and daytime temperatures will rise to 23–28°. This was reported by the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, according to "Komersant Ukrainian"

It will be warmest in the southwestern part of the country, where temperatures will reach 30°. Localized, brief showers are possible only in some regions on Saturday.

Where will it rain this weekend?

On Saturday, June 20, variable cloudiness is forecast across Ukraine.

Most regions will see no precipitation. Light, brief showers are possible during the day:

in northeastern Ukraine;
in the Odesa region;
in the Vinnytsia region.

Precipitation will be localized, so rain is not expected throughout the entire territory of these regions.

On Sunday, June 21, mostly dry weather will continue in most regions.

What will the temperature be?

At night, temperatures across Ukraine will generally range from 13 to 18°.

During the day, temperatures will rise to 23–28°.

It will be warmer in the southwestern part of the country:

at night — 15–20°;
during the day — 25… 30°.

Thus, the weekend will be summer-like and warm, but without extreme heat in most regions.

What winds are forecast?

A northerly wind will prevail throughout the weekend.

Its speed will be 5–10 m/s.

Forecasters do not predict strong gusts or dangerous weather phenomena in most regions.

However, residents of regions where localized rain is possible should monitor the real-time alerts from the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.

Weather in Kyiv for the weekend

Mostly dry weather is expected in Kyiv and the Kyiv region this weekend.

Forecasters predict variable cloudiness with no significant precipitation.

The wind will be from the north, with speeds of 5–10 m/s.

Temperatures in the Kyiv region:

at night — 13…18°;
during the day — 23…28°.

In Kyiv, temperatures will be:

at night — 16…18°;
during the day — 26… 28°.

So, the weekend in the capital will be warm and mostly sunny.

Where will it be warmest?

The highest temperatures are forecast for the southern and southwestern regions.

In some places, the air will warm up to 30°.

Warm weather is also expected in most western regions. At the same time, temperatures will be slightly lower in the northern and northeastern regions.

In most regions, daytime temperatures will remain comfortable—between 23° and 28°.

What will the weather be like on Monday?

At the start of next week, weather conditions will begin to change.

On Monday, rain and thunderstorms are expected:

in the western regions;
during the day in the northern regions;
in most central regions.

Precipitation may be heavy in some areas.

Dry weather will prevail across the rest of Ukraine.

Daytime temperatures will range from 23° to 28°, and in the southern part, as well as in most western, central, and eastern regions, they will rise to 30° to 32° in some places.
