The consumption of critical infrastructure facilities will not be restricted.

Current energy situation in the country

Due to rising temperatures across Ukraine, the following is expected to increase in electricity consumptionwhich will lead to a shortage in the power system. As of today, planned power outage schedules are expected to be applied during the evening peak consumption hours – from 16:00 to 24:00. From 17:00 to 22:00, two rounds of restrictions will be applied, and at other times, one round will be applied.

There will be no blackouts for critical infrastructure companies and companies that import more than 80% of their electricity in accordance with a government decree.

The situation in the power system remains difficult due to significant damage to energy facilities as a result of massive hostile attacks on the energy sector. 9 GW of generating capacity has been lost, and the enemy continues to shell energy infrastructure on a daily basis, especially in the frontline and border regions. Substations and power lines are most often targeted.

A large-scale repair campaign and restoration of energy facilities to prepare for the autumn and winter period is underway.

There are no electricity exports and no plans to do so. For the current day, imports from Poland, Slovakia, Romania, Hungary and Moldova are forecast to reach a maximum capacity of 1,235 MW in some hours.
