The Cabinet of Ministers has appointed Nataliia Stukalo as head of the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has appointed Nataliya Stukalo as head of the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance, according to a Telegram post by Taras Melnychuk, the government’s representative in the Verkhovna Rada, as reported by "Komersant Ukrainian".

It should be noted that on July 16, Nataliia Stukalo was elected head of the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance (NAZYAO).

Natalia Stukalo: What Is Known About Her

Natalia Stukalo is a Doctor of Economics, professor, researcher, and expert in the fields of international economics and higher education quality assurance. She serves on the Board of Directors of the International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE).

Stukalo is the director of the online MBA program at the London School of Business and Finance and has also served as an international expert for higher education quality assurance agencies, notably in Hong Kong, Latvia, and Romania.

She completed the Leadership Program of the European Network for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA), the Ukrainian School of Political Studies, and the Council of Europe’s Summer School on Democracy in Strasbourg. She also participated in the “Innovative University and Leadership” project.

Prior to joining the National Agency, Stukalo headed the Department of International Finance and served as dean of the Faculty of International Economics at the Oles Honchar Dnipro National University. She also chaired a specialized academic council for the defense of doctoral dissertations.

Stukalo has studied and completed internships at a number of foreign universities, including Harvard and the University of Bologna, the Free University of Brussels, the Catholic University of Leuven, as well as the universities of Amsterdam, Liverpool, and Roehampton.

She initiated and coordinated international educational projects within the framework of the TEMPUS, Erasmus, and International Renaissance Foundation programs, and participated in international forums and summits on higher education.
