Kit Kellogg visited Ukraine: What Was the Purpose of the Visit?

Keith Kellogg, the former U.S. Special Envoy for Ukraine, visited the Port of Odesa. The American delegation was shown the aftermath of Russian attacks on infrastructure and briefed on the operations of Ukrainian ports during a full-scale war. This was reported by the Ministry of Recovery, Infrastructure, and Transport of Ukraine, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
The visit was attended by Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Taras Vysotsky, Mykola Kravchuk, Head of the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority; Oleg Kipper, Head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration; and Oleksiy Neizhpapa, Commander of the Ukrainian Navy.
During the meeting, they discussed the safety of shipping, the operation of the Ukrainian Maritime Corridor, the restoration of ports, and the strengthening of export routes.
They also discussed attracting American companies and investments to Ukrainian projects. Among the priorities are concession projects at the Port of Chornomorsk, the development of road and rail infrastructure, and water supply.
Another topic was cooperation within the framework of the U.S.-Ukraine Reconstruction Investment Fund. Through this fund, they plan to attract U.S. companies, financial institutions, and technology providers to projects in the transportation and logistics sectors.
