Lady Gaga becomes the main star of the MTV VMA 2025, beating Ariana Grande and Sabrina Carpenter

The American singer and actress Lady Gaga won the most awards at the prestigious MTV Video Music Awards 2025 ceremony held in the United States. She won in four categories at once, confirming her status as one of the main pop stars of our time, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
According to Variety, the artist was recognized as “Artist of the Year” and was also awarded for “Best Director” and “Best Artistic Production”. Lady Gaga received the fourth statuette for Best Collaboration – a duet with Bruno Mars in the song Die With a Smile.
Three awards went to Ariana Grande, who won in the Video of the Year, Best Pop Song and Best Long Form Video categories . Sabrina Carpenter also received three statuettes in the categories of Best Album, Best Visual Effects, and Best Supporting Act .
The best song of the year was “Apt” by Rose and Bruno Mars.
This year’s ceremony confirmed MTV VMA’s status as one of the key events in the music world, where the struggle between global stars becomes a symbol of trends and new industry standards.
