NABU and the SAPO are investigating the case involving Olga Stefanishyna: The High Anti-Corruption Court has authorized the searches

The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO) are investigating a criminal case involving former Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Olga Stefanishyna. The investigation is examining the circumstances surrounding possible illicit enrichment and false declarations.
Information about the case is contained in rulings by the High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) and the HACC’s Appeals Chamber, according to "Komersant Ukrainian"
What NABU and the SAPO Are Investigating
According to the investigation, NABU detectives have opened a criminal case under articles concerning possible illicit enrichment and false asset declarations.
Court documents indicate that law enforcement officials are verifying the legality of the acquisition of a number of real estate properties and a vehicle, which, according to the investigation, may not correspond to the official income of the official.
Specifically, these include:
- a 99.8-square-meter apartment in the “Lvivska Ploshcha” residential complex;
- several non-residential premises;
- a parking space;
- two apartments in the “Faina Town” residential complex;
- a 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLC 220D, which, according to the investigation, was used between 2021 and 2025.
At the same time, it should be noted that as of the time of publication, Olga Stefanishyna has not been notified of any charges against her. The case is currently in the pre-trial investigation stage.
The High Anti-Corruption Court authorized the searches
As part of this criminal proceeding, NABU detectives conducted a search of a 2022 Land Rover Range Rover owned by attorney Ivan Kholondovych.
According to investigators, the attorney may have facilitated the purchase of two apartments in the “Faina Town” residential complex.
During the search, law enforcement officers seized two cell phones—an iPhone 16 Pro Max and an iPhone 17. Subsequently, the court ordered their seizure and recognized them as physical evidence in the case.
The relevant procedural decisions are contained in the rulings of the High Anti-Corruption Court.
The Story of the Apartment in the “Lvivska Ploshcha” Residential Complex
Earlier, hromadske journalists reported that Olga Stefanishyna’s mother had purchased a 99.8-square-meter apartment in the “Lvivska Ploshcha” residential complex in Kyiv.
According to the journalists, the documents listed the apartment’s value at 3.04 million UAH, while the developer’s minimum price for similar apartments at that time, according to the investigation, started at approximately 12 million UAH.
In response, Olga Stefanishyna stated that her parents had invested in the apartment back in 2019, when the price per square meter was significantly lower. She cited this as the reason for the difference between the price specified in the contract and the current market price.
What Is Known About the Investigation
Currently, NABU detectives are continuing to gather evidence.
The pre-trial investigation is ongoing, and the court will provide a final legal assessment of the actions of all individuals involved after the investigation is completed.
Under Ukrainian law, a person is presumed innocent until proven guilty in court and a final, legally binding conviction is issued.
