Nestlé is considering entering the U.S. market with its “Mivina” products, said Roman Yanovich, the company’s CEO in Ukraine and Moldova, during a meeting with journalists, according to "Komersant Ukrainian", citing LIGA.net.

“There is demand for even greater production. We have the opportunity to enter the U.S. market. In other words, this product is popular not only in Europe but also in America,” he said.

Currently, the factory in the village of Smoligiv in the Volyn region exports products to 19 countries. It produces “Mivina” instant noodles.

At the same time, the company will increase its investment in this facility to 70 million euros by the end of 2027. This year, Nestlé has already invested 230 million hryvnias in the expansion of production capacity and will invest another 600 million hryvnias by the end of the year.

As part of the next phase, the plant will install a second and third production lines, which will create 250 new jobs. The company currently employs 380 people.

In total, during the first half of 2026, Nestlé invested 5 billion UAH in Ukraine—funds were directed toward production, marketing, consumer communications, and the development of new product categories, including borscht seasonings.

During this period, the FMCG market in Ukraine grew by 10% in monetary terms and 3% in physical volume compared to the same period last year. The categories in which Nestlé operates showed faster growth rates: 15% in value and 6% in volume.

“Overall, the FMCG market in Ukraine is growing—both in value (due to inflation) and in volume. Physical consumption is rising, which means people are buying more, not just paying more,” noted Roman Yanovich.

Nestlé itself in Ukraine grew even faster during this period—by 19.3% in hryvnia and 10% in physical sales volume. “This is a signal for investment in our company in Ukraine,” he said.

According to Yanovich, the Nestlé Group increased its global sales by 3.6% in the first half of this year, contributing to Nestlé’s global growth and serving as one of the drivers of the company’s development.
