Russia launched a missile attack on the Kyiv region: six dead and dozens wounded

A rescue operation is underway in the Kyiv region following a Russian missile strike that occurred on the morning of July 24. This was reported by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
He stated that, as of now, six people are known to have died and dozens have been injured.
“My condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims. The investigation into all the circumstances and the fate of those affected is ongoing. All necessary emergency services are working at the scene,” the post reads.
The president also reported that there are casualties in Sloviansk as a result of airstrikes. Five people were killed and nine were wounded. The Russians damaged ordinary residential buildings, a consulate building, and vehicles.
“These are brutal attacks on civilians, for which the Russians must be held accountable. Russia has long since ceased to respect any international norms or human rights. They are interested only in continuing the killings. It is important that our partners also fully understand that protecting lives depends on them as well. Missiles for the ‘Patriots’ are the number one priority,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy wrote.
Valery Borovik, founder of the defense contractor First Contact and a combat veteran, reported that Russia struck one of the training grounds where an arms exhibition was taking place.

The “Taras Hryhorovych Reports” community published screenshots of messages indicating the name of the event. The event in question is the Defense Demo Day & Defense Expo “Critically Protected,” organized by “ARMADA”—the Association of Manufacturers of Unmanned Systems and Related Technologies. The stated goal of the event was to present comprehensive solutions for protecting critical infrastructure from modern airborne threats.
Presidential adviser Serhiy “Flash” Beskrestnov directly confirms that the strike targeted the arms exhibition.
“Thanks, friends, I’m fine. The team is alive,” he wrote on Facebook.
The Ukrainian Arms Manufacturers Council confirmed that an enemy missile strike occurred in the Kyiv region at a location where representatives of the Ukrainian defense industry were present.
According to them, the exact location of the participants had not been publicly disclosed.
It is noted that the circumstances of the strike are being investigated by the relevant authorities.
