Drone Attack: A Fire Broke Out Near the Wildberries Warehouse in Yekaterinburg

The Ukrainian Armed Forces have once again attacked Wildberries warehouses. In Yekaterinburg on Saturday, July 25, a drone attack sparked a fire in a parking lot on Perspektivnaya Street, located in the city’s Chkalovsky District. Cars were on fire, but the warehouse itself was not damaged this time. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian", citing Russian propaganda media.
Denis Pasler, governor of the Sverdlovsk Region, confirmed the attack on his Telegram channel.
“Debris from a UAV caused a fire in a 300-square-meter parking lot in the Chkalovsky District of Yekaterinburg. Economic and infrastructure facilities were not damaged,” Pasler said, without mentioning the Wildberries warehouse. “People were evacuated; there were no casualties.”
At the time of publication, the fire had been extinguished, but the region remained on high alert for UAV attacks.
The Wildberries warehouse in Yekaterinburg was not affected
In response to a request from journalists, the marketplace’s press office confirmed that they had managed to carry out the evacuation.
“The company’s logistics complex in Yekaterinburg was not damaged. A preemptive, scheduled evacuation was carried out at the facility in accordance with safety requirements. Operations at the logistics facility have been temporarily suspended. Operations are expected to resume as normal in the near future,” the statement reads.
It is noted that smoke from the fire in the parking lot near Wildberries was visible from various parts of Yekaterinburg. The Ukrainian Telegram channel Exilenova wrote that this time there was a “minor misfire,” but expressed the opinion that the fate of the Wildberries warehouse in Yekaterinburg “has already been decided in advance.”

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy describes the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ attacks on WB warehouses in Russia as a response to Russia’s strikes on Ukraine’s civilian infrastructure.
