Roman Osypchuk, Deputy Director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU), declared pension payments totaling 332,900 hryvnias for the first time in 2025. The relevant data is contained in his annual electronic declaration, published in the NACP registry , according to "Komersant Ukrainian".

According to the document, the official received 332,879 hryvnias in pension payments last year. By comparison, Osypchuk’s 2024 declaration does not include any pension payments, which may indicate that he began receiving pension benefits during the most recent reporting period, at the age of 42.

In addition, for 2025, the deputy director of the Anti-Corruption Bureau declared 4.5 million hryvnias in salary.

Interestingly, this exceeds the official income of the bureau’s director, Semen Kryvonos, who declared 3.7 million UAH in salary for the same period.

The declaration also states that Osypchuk has held combatant status since 2015.

As a reminder, under Ukrainian law, certain categories of law enforcement officers, military personnel, and individuals with special status are eligible for early retirement benefits based on years of service, provided they have the required length of service.

This is not the first time that individual deputies in the Rada have raised the issue of abolishing special pensions.

In addition,Minister of Social Policy, Family, and Unity Denys Ulyutin recently stated that special pensions should be separated from the solidarity system .

As a reminder, SAPO Head Klymenko declared a record salary for December—nearly 765,000 hryvnias.
