The list of prohibited software has been expanded: key changes

The State Special Communications Service reported that it has expanded the List of Prohibited Software and Communications (Network) Equipment from 1,341 items to 1,564 items. The 223 new entries include software and equipment from a number of companies subject to sanctions. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian".

“The update was carried out based on the results of systematic work by the Department of State Control in the Field of Information Security and Cybersecurity within the State Special Communications Service Administration. Specialists are reviewing existing and new resolutions of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, which were enacted by decrees of the President of Ukraine.

As part of this work, software products and communications equipment associated with sanctioned entities are being analyzed. This is necessary to ensure the timely updating of the List and to minimize the risks associated with the use of such solutions in the public sector,” the statement reads.

In particular, the List has been expanded to include products from the following companies and systems:

▪️ “Innotech Group of Companies” LLC: banking, fintech, corporate, analytical, integration, cloud, and infrastructure software platforms;

▪️ Trukonf LLC: server and client software for video conferencing, corporate communications, and MCU servers;

▪️ “Politerm” LLC: geographic information system (GIS) software and software suites for modeling, calculating, and dispatching utility networks;

▪️ Zulu product line: ZuluGIS/ZuluServer, ZuluNetTools, web, mobile, OPC/API components, and modules for heating, water supply, sewer, gas, and steam networks;

▪️ Aviation and space sectors: specialized software and information systems from the Federal State Budgetary Institution “Aviamettelekom Roshydromet” for aviation meteorological support, as well as software products from the Federal State Unitary Enterprise “Cosmic Communications” and JSC “Amtel-Zvyazok.”
