A Package That Smells Like Bread: “Nova Poshta” Has Launched an Unusual Delivery Service

13 August 12:27

To mark the 35th anniversary of Ukraine’s independence, “Nova Poshta” and chef Yevhen Klopotenko have launched a cultural and culinary project called “Our Bread Is Diverse.” Customers are offered free access to five video recipes for Ukrainian bread from different regions of the country. Detailed terms of participation are published on the official page of the “Our Bread Is Diverse” campaign, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".

To receive the recipes, you must send a package within Ukraine or abroad via “Nova Poshta” by August 31, 2026.

For the project, Yevhen Klopotenko selected five types of traditional Ukrainian bread. Each recipe represents a specific region and its culinary heritage:

  • fluffy palyanytsia from Zaporizhzhia;
  • corn oshchypok from Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast;
  • a lean korochun from Zakarpattia;
  • fragrant pampushok from Poltava Oblast;
  • ceremonial kalach from Podillia.

The project’s creators emphasize that Ukraine’s bread-making tradition is far more diverse than it might seem. Recipes, shapes, and ingredients varied depending on the region, local customs, and family traditions.

How to Get Klopotenko’s Video Recipes

To participate in the promotion, you must:

Participants are promised more than just recipes

In addition to free access to five video recipes, registered participants have a chance to win one of 35 food processors. That’s exactly how many prizes have been prepared to mark the 35th anniversary of Ukraine’s independence.

It’s important to note that a food processor is not automatically awarded for every submission. It is a prize drawn from among registered participants, whereas access to the recipes is offered as a gift as part of the promotion.

Why was the “Our Bread Is Diverse” project launched?

The company explains that the project aims to remind Ukrainians of the diversity of their national cuisine and traditions. Bread in various forms has long been a staple of family celebrations, weddings, Christmas, welcoming guests, and other important events.

The initiative combines delivery with culinary culture: instead of a physical loaf, customers receive digital recipes they can use to bake regional Ukrainian bread themselves.
