PrivatBank has launched a new service for sole proprietors in Privat24: how to file a tax return online

14 July 07:43

Individual entrepreneurs now have a new way to simplify their tax filing. PrivatBank has integrated a service into its Privat24 mobile app that allows users to automatically generate, sign, and submit single-tax payer returns without using third-party software or visiting the tax office.

This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian", citing PrivatBank’s official website.

What Has Changed for Sole Proprietors

The new feature is available to sole proprietors in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd single-tax groups.

Now the entire tax return filing process can be completed directly within the mobile app:

  • automatically generate the tax return;
  • verify the accuracy of the entered data;
  • sign the document using SmartID;
  • submit the tax return to the State Tax Service;
  • pay the required taxes immediately.

How the new service works

The main advantage of the new feature is that it automatically fills out the tax return.

The system analyzes the flow of funds through the entrepreneur’s accounts at PrivatBank, automatically determines the amount of income, and enters it into the corresponding fields of the tax return. The user only needs to verify the information and confirm it with a SmartID electronic signature.

After signing, the tax return is automatically submitted to the State Tax Service, and once it is accepted, the app prompts the user to pay their tax liabilities immediately.

Where to Find the New Feature

The new service is already available in the Privat24 Unified App.

To file a tax return, go to the “Tax Returns” section, where you can also:

  • view previously filed returns;
  • create new tax returns;
  • track your submission history.

The bank explained the benefits of the new service

According to Yevhen Zaigraev, a member of PrivatBank’s Management Board responsible for corporate business and SMEs, the integration of tax reporting into the mobile app is another step toward creating a digital office for entrepreneurs.

“We have taken another step toward the ‘bank as a digital business center’ model, where entrepreneurs can manage their finances, reporting, and mandatory payments from their smartphones,” he noted.

The bank also emphasizes that the automatic generation of documents will help reduce the number of errors when filling out tax returns and cut down on the time needed to complete tax procedures.

Digital Services for Businesses Are Expanding

The new functionality marks another step in the development of PrivatBank’s digital services for small businesses.

Previously, the bank also expanded its international money transfer capabilities through the PrivatMoney service, and entrepreneurs already have access to electronic reporting, invoicing, electronic document management, and other business services within the Privat24 for Business ecosystem.
