Russia attacked an industrial facility in Zaporizhzhia: what is known

On the morning of Wednesday, May 6, Russian forces launched another attack on Zaporizhzhia. An industrial facility was targeted. Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, reported the attack, according to "Komersant Ukrainian"
According to him, the enemy specifically targeted an industrial facility, but no one was injured as a result of the strike.
What happened in Zaporizhzhia on May 6
Explosions were heard in Zaporizhzhia on the morning of May 6. Prior to this, an air raid alert had been issued in the region due to the threat of Russian strike drones and guided aerial bombs.
Explosions in the Zaporizhzhia region were heard around 5:26 a.m., and the Air Force reported the launch of guided aerial bombs toward the region.
Later, Ivan Fedorov confirmed the strike on industrial infrastructure.
“The enemy attacked an industrial infrastructure facility. There were no casualties,” Fedorov said.

The strike occurred amid a “ceasefire”
The attack on Zaporizhzhia occurred after the start of the ceasefire, which Ukraine declared at 12:00 a.m. on May 6. Kyiv announced its readiness for a ceasefire in response to Russian statements regarding a so-called “truce” on May 8–9.
At the same time, Russian airstrikes were recorded in various regions of Ukraine in the early hours of May 6. In the Zaporizhzhia region, air raid alerts were issued twice due to the threat of drones and guided bombs, and explosions were heard in Zaporizhzhia itself.
The day before, on May 5, Russian forces attacked Zaporizhzhia with guided aerial bombs.
The death toll from that attack rose to 12 people, and dozens of injuries were also reported.
Against this backdrop, the new strike on an industrial facility on May 6 was a continuation of Russian attacks on the city and the region.
