Russia struck a “Nova Poshta” terminal in the Poltava region: what is known about the consequences of the attack

On the night of July 30, Russian forces carried out another drone attack on the Poltava region. The strike damaged a Nova Poshta terminal, caused a large-scale fire, and resulted in one fatality.
This was reported by the Poltava Regional Military Administration, according to "Komersant Ukrainian"
What is known about the attack
According to the Poltava Regional Military Administration, the Poltava district sustained the most damage.
One of the Russian attack drones struck a warehouse belonging to a private company.
One person was killed as a result of the attack.
In addition, a terminal belonging to the company “Nova Poshta” was hit .

A fire broke out at the logistics terminal after it was struck by drones.
Units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine were promptly deployed to extinguish the blaze.
Rescue workers were able to quickly contain and extinguish the fire.
According to preliminary reports, no one was injured at the terminal.
What happened in other parts of the region
The aftermath of the attack was also reported in the Lubny district.
There, debris from a downed Russian drone fell onto the roadway.
According to authorities:
- there are no reports of casualties;
- traffic may be temporarily restricted until emergency services complete their work;
- law enforcement officers and bomb disposal experts are inspecting the crash site.
Emergency services are on the scene
Following the nighttime attack, the following units continue to operate on the ground:
- State Emergency Service units;
- police officers;
- bomb disposal experts;
- local government officials.
Experts are assessing the extent of damage to civilian infrastructure and documenting the consequences of the Russian strike.
Russia continues to attack logistics infrastructure
Throughout the full-scale war, Russian troops have repeatedly struck Ukraine’s logistics centers, warehouses, and transportation infrastructure.
Such attacks are aimed not only at damaging property but also at disrupting logistics chains, the operations of businesses, and the delivery of goods to the population.
