Russia struck Chuguev: four dead, others injured

On the night of June 9, Russian forces launched an attack on Chuhuiv in the Kharkiv region. According to updated information from local authorities, four people were killed in the attack, and at least four others were wounded. Residential neighborhoods were hit, and fires broke out in the city. This was reported by [Komersant], citing a statement from Oleg Synyegubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.
According to Synyegubov, the dead include a 70-year-old man, a 70-year-old woman, a 56-year-old man, and a 22-year-old woman.
According to local authorities, the Russians launched a series of strikes on the city, particularly targeting the central part of Chuhuiv. The strikes caused fires and damaged civilian vehicles, apartment buildings, and private homes.
Chuhuiv Mayor Galina Minaeva reported that approximately eight apartment buildings and more than ten private homes were damaged. All emergency services are on the scene.

Kharkiv region was under a massive nighttime attack
In addition to Chuhuiv, Kharkiv was also targeted overnight.
The strikes caused fires, damaged at least 18 vehicles, and shattered windows and damaged facades in residential high-rise buildings.
The number of casualties in Kharkiv reached 15 people.
Among those who required medical assistance were three children, including a one-year-old boy.
Three women were hospitalized.





Thus, Russia’s nighttime attack on the Kharkiv region once again struck civilian infrastructure and residential areas, causing the deaths of civilians and further destruction.
