Russia launched a missile attack on Odesa: transportation infrastructure was hit

On the morning of July 13, Russian occupation forces launched a new missile strike on Odesa. As a result of the attack, hits were recorded on the city’s transportation infrastructure.

This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian", citing Serhiy Lysak, head of the Odesa City Military Administration.

According to the head of the Odesa City Military Administration, Russian troops attacked the city in the morning.

“The enemy attacked Odesa. The city’s transportation infrastructure has been hit,” Serhiy Lysak said.

Information regarding the extent of the damage, as well as possible casualties or fatalities, is currently being verified.

Emergency services are on the scene.

According to Russian Telegram channels, Russia struck a parking lot in Odesa; buses and cars are on fire.

UPDATE

As a result of the enemy attack, the premises of a motor transport company were damaged. Buses caught fire. Four private homes were also damaged.

Preliminary reports indicate that three men—aged 58, 62, and 66—were injured. They were hospitalized with moderate injuries.

All relevant emergency services are on the scene.

The Air Force had warned of a missile threat

Before the strike, the Ukrainian Air Force reported the movement of Russian missiles from the Black Sea toward Odesa and Chornomorsk.

After an air raid alert was issued, explosions were heard in the city.

Official information regarding the type of weapons used and the consequences of the attack will be released once emergency services have completed their work.

Russia continues to shell the Odesa region

In recent weeks, Russian troops have been regularly attacking the Odesa region, striking port, transportation, and civilian infrastructure. Logistics facilities, industrial enterprises, and residential areas are coming under fire.

Authorities are urging citizens not to ignore air raid sirens and to remain in shelters until the danger has passed.
