3 August 22:52

On the evening of August 3, Russian occupation forces struck a “Nova Poshta” freight facility in Pryluky, Chernihiv Oblast. As a result of the attack, the logistics facility was completely destroyed; however, thanks to adherence to safety protocols, no casualties were reported.

This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian", citing Nova Poshta’s official Telegram channel.

Russia struck the logistics infrastructure

The company reported that during the air raid alert, employees and customers were in shelters, so no one was injured.

Work is currently underway at the site to clean up the aftermath of the Russian shelling and assess the extent of the damage.

What will happen to damaged shipments

“Nova Poshta” stated that all customers whose shipments were destroyed or damaged as a result of the Russian attack will receive compensation.

The company reported that:

  • the declared value of the damaged shipments will be reimbursed;
  • each customer will be contacted individually to clarify the details of the compensation;
  • logistics routes have already been promptly rerouted.

Deliveries Continue

Despite yet another attack on civilian infrastructure, “Nova Poshta” continues to operate.

The company notes that backup logistics plans have already been implemented to minimize potential delivery delays in other regions of Ukraine.

This is not the first time Russian troops have attacked logistics infrastructure facilities. Previously, Nova Poshta’s sorting terminals and branches in the Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk, and Vinnytsia regions were targeted.
