During his visit to Ukraine, U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham familiarized himself with the development and manufacturing processes of the Vampire heavy bomber drones, also known as “Baba Yaga,” various models of the Shrike FPV drones, and the P1-SUN “suicide drone” interceptors, according to a press release issued on Saturday, July 11, by SkyFall, the manufacturer of these drones, as reported by [Komersant].
“I believe it would be a huge mistake for America not to cooperate with Ukraine in the field of drones. They are ready to help us because we were ready to support Ukraine during its most difficult times,” the American senator is quoted as saying in the statement.
In his view, this production facility is one of the most modern and advanced in the world, “because necessity is the mother of all inventions.”
The SkyFall team noted that it also presented new technological solutions that will soon be deployed on the battlefield. The senator was given a separate presentation on the capabilities of the SkyFall Academy, which trains pilots, technicians, and instructors to work with unmanned systems.
The parties discussed the prospects for Ukrainian-American cooperation in the field of defense innovation and potential areas for technological partnership.
SkyFall is a Ukrainian defense technology company that combines a large R&D center, scalable production lines, and the certified SkyFall Academy for training pilots, instructors, and technicians.
