A new method of concealing fuel has been devised: the occupiers in the temporarily occupied territories are hiding fuel in grain trucks

In the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, Russian troops are transporting fuel in tanks concealed inside grain trucks. This was reported by the National Resistance Center, according to [Komersant].

“The occupying army continues to seek new ways to covertly supply fuel to the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. The Russian Armed Forces have begun transporting fuel in plastic tanks placed inside grain trucks, which they then fill with grain and cover with tarps to conceal them,” the statement reads.

In this way, the Russian military is using civilian transport as a cover to supply its own units with fuel.

“Such incidents indicate the Russian army’s growing difficulties in delivering fuel to the front lines. Due to constant logistical losses, the occupiers are forced to resort to covert transport schemes, using civilian infrastructure as cover and posing an additional threat to civilians in the temporarily occupied territories,” the CNS notes.

As a reminder, the Ukrainian Defense Forces regularly destroy enemy depots and convoys. However, special attention is being paid to Russian oil refineries behind enemy lines. Recently, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed a strike on one of the largest oil refineries in southern Russia.
