People’s Deputy from the Servant of the People faction Andriy Klochko was served with a notice of suspicion of illicit enrichment. This was reported by the NABU, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
Law enforcement officers did not disclose the name of the defendant, but the Anti-Corruption Action Centre said it was Andriy K lochko from the Servant of the People faction.
According to the investigation, in 2020-2021, the MP acquired assets worth a total of UAH 25 million – five apartments in Kyiv, three land plots in Kyiv region, two non-residential premises, as well as Tesla and Mersedes-Benz cars.
The MP registered the majority of the acquired property in the names of his close relatives, retaining the right to dispose of it in full.
However, it turned out that neither his and his wife’s official income and savings during this period, nor the income of his relatives was sufficient to purchase this property, the NABU said.
The difference between the cost of the purchased property and Klochko’s funds is UAH 11 million.

Classification of the suspect’s actions: Article 368-5 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The crime was uncovered following the publication of journalistic investigations, in particular by the Bihus.Info team, and with the assistance of the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption.
Bihus.Info published its investigation into Klochko on 7 September 2021. At that time, journalists wrote that the MP’s 70-year-old mother Natalia had become the owner of two apartments in Kyiv, a house, land and a car over the past two years. The market value of this property is approximately UAH 14.5 million, and the start of the purchases coincided with Klochko’s election to the Verkhovna Rada. At the same time, the MP received UAH 20,000 in monthly compensation from the state for renting a house in Kyiv.
The next day, the MP stated on his Facebook page that his sister, who owns a medical business, helps his mother, and her husband heads a branch of an international company.
