Prices at McDonald’s rose significantly in May: here’s how much meals and drinks cost now

In May 2026, McDonald’s in Ukraine implemented a significant price increase on most menu items. Compared to April, the cost of classic burgers, chicken dishes, and combos rose by 5 to 30 hryvnias. This price adjustment reflects general trends in the food market and inflationary pressures, writes "Komersant Ukrainian", citing MigNews.
Burgers have become more expensive
Popular burgers have seen the biggest price hikes:
- The Big Mac has gone up by 20–25 hryvnias and now costs 149–159 hryvnias.
- The Double Big Tasty has gone up by 15–25 hryvnias, bringing its price to 265–279 hryvnias.
- The Royal Cheeseburger and McChicken have gone up by 10–15 UAH, while the Double Royal Cheeseburger and Big Tasty Single have gone up by 10–20 UAH.
These changes apply to virtually all classic burgers, making a meal at McDonald’s slightly more expensive for consumers.

Chicken dishes have also become more expensive
Prices for chicken dishes have also gone up:
- A 6-piece McNuggets order has gone up by 5–10 UAH, to 119–129 UAH.
- A 9-piece McNuggets and a 3-piece Strips have gone up by 10–15 UAH, now costing 165–175 UAH and 145–155 UAH, respectively.
Chicken items remain more affordable compared to large burgers, but the price increase is noticeable.
French fries and drinks
French fries have also gone up in price:
- Small portions went up by 5–10 UAH, while medium and large portions increased by 10–15 UAH each.
Medium-sized drinks, such as Coca-Cola, now cost 65–69 UAH, which is 5–10 UAH more than in April.
Combo meals
The biggest increase is seen in combo meals:
- The Big Mac Menu has gone up by 15–30 UAH and now costs 284–299 UAH.
- The Royal Cheeseburger Menu has gone up by 15–25 UAH.
- The 9-piece Nuggets Menu has gone up by 10–20 UAH.
Combo sets remain a convenient option for consumers, but the price increase has made them less cost-effective.
What has remained unchanged
Despite the general price increase, some items have maintained their prices. Sauces, water, some desserts, and the budget “NicePrice Combo” have remained virtually unchanged. This allows consumers to choose more affordable options when visiting McDonald’s restaurants.
