Ukraine is stepping up the production and supply of weapons for combat aircraft. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
“To this end, representatives of defense companies and delegations from member states of the Air Power Capabilities Coalition were gathered at Industry Day. Ukrainian developers presented their own developments in the field of aviation munitions and weapons,” the statement said.
The Ministry of Defense noted that the main task is to work with international partners to minimize the time it takes to move from concept to the application of technological solutions on the battlefield.
“The Air Power Capabilities Coalition works to strengthen the defense of our skies: training Ukrainian pilots and technicians, transferring modern aircraft, and developing airfield infrastructure and services,” the ministry added.

As a reminder, the day before, Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov announced the completion of the development of the first Ukrainian guided aerial bomb.
“We continue to develop Ukrainian high-tech solutions for the front lines. A participant in the Brave1 program has created the first Ukrainian guided aerial bomb, which has already passed the necessary tests and is ready for combat use,” he noted
More on the development
According to Fedorov, development took 17 months. The Ukrainian guided aerial bomb has a unique design and was created with the realities of modern warfare in mind. It is not a copy of Western or Soviet designs, but an original development by Ukrainian engineers for the effective destruction of fortifications, command posts, and other enemy targets tens of kilometers deep after launch.
Technical specifications
Warhead weight: 250 kg.
The Ministry of Defense has already purchased the first experimental batch. Pilots are currently working through combat scenarios and adapting the use of this new weapon in real-world combat conditions.
“Ukraine is transitioning from importing individual solutions to creating its own high-tech weapons, which systematically strengthen the Defense Forces and provide a technological advantage on the battlefield,” the defense minister concluded.
According to him, Ukrainian KABs will soon be targeting enemy positions. The Ministry is scaling up solutions that increase strike range and accuracy and are changing the rules of modern warfare, the minister stated.
