Entry to and exit from Khmelnytsky NPP satellite town restricted

In Netishyn, Khmelnytsky region, where a nuclear power plant operates, restrictions have been imposed on entry and exit to the city. People can only enter or leave the city through checkpoints. This was reported by the press service of the Netishyn City Military Administration, Kommersant Ukrainsky reports

The restrictions came into effect on 4 March 2024.

According to the Netishyn MMA, it is allowed to enter the city:

  • Checkpoint near the Khutorok restaurant (exit to Staronetishynska Street).
  • Checkpoint near the stele “Netishyn” (exit to Enerhetykiv Street).
  • Checkpoint from the direction of Komarivka village.
  • Checkpoint at the entrance from the village of Bilotyn.

Entry to the city from other directions will be restricted.

It should be noted that an important strategic facility, the Khmelnytskyi Nuclear Power Plant, is located on the territory of the Netishyn community.
