Putin’s staff hesitates to congratulate Trump on election victory

Russian President’s spokesman Peskov said that he did not know whether Putin planned to congratulate Donald Trump on his election victory. This was reported by Radio Liberty, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
The spokesman reminded that the United States is an unfriendly country for Russia.
“I am not aware of the president’s plans to congratulate Trump on the election. Let’s not forget that we are talking about an unfriendly country that is directly and indirectly involved in the war against Russia,” the Kremlin spokesman told reporters.
He was also asked whether Putin was ready for a phone conversation with Trump, to which Peskov said Putin was open to dialogue.
