The strike on Kyiv destroyed the Kamalia business center: what is known

3 June 17:03

The business center in Kyiv owned by singer Kamaliya and her ex-husband, Pakistani-born entrepreneur Mohammad Zahoor, has once again been damaged by a Russian attack. This is the third strike on the building in the past few days, reports "Komersant Ukrainian".

On her Instagram, Kamaliya noted that no employees were injured. However, the air conditioning system and the transformer substation were damaged. The building also needs to be cleaned up.

“Our business center has once again been hit by a Russian missile—for the third time in 16 days. Fortunately, there were no casualties this time either. Last time, our air conditioning chillers and the transformer substation survived. This time, we were less fortunate,” the singer wrote.

Despite everything, she and Zakhur do not plan to give up and will begin restoring the business. To start, the former couple wants to repair the transformer, and once power is restored, they will begin cleaning up the aftermath of the strike and making repairs.

“The first task right now is to get the transformer running. But given the severity of the damage and the power company’s workload, it won’t be easy, even if we manage to find all the necessary parts. All the cleanup and repair work over the past 16 days has gone to waste. We’re starting all over again—but for that, we need power,” the artist said.

As a reminder, on the night of June 2, Russia launched a large-scale combined strike against Ukraine, using ballistic, cruise, and hypersonic missiles, as well as attack drones.

According to Ukrainian sources, the occupiers launched about 70 missiles and nearly 700 drones. Air defense forces managed to destroy a significant portion of the aerial targets, but dozens of ballistic missiles were recorded as having hit their targets.

As reported by "Komersant Ukrainian", in mid-May, Ukrainian singer Kamaliya spoke about the significant damage her family business suffered as a result of the Russian attack.

Kamaliya noted that the losses for her family were very great. At the same time, the most important thing for her is that no one was killed or injured as a result of the strike.
