The Unmanned Systems Forces (USF) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are continuing a large-scale campaign to destroy Russia’s logistics and military infrastructure in occupied Crimea. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian", citing a statement by Robert Brovdi, commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces.

Ukrainian drones attacked 15 vessels of Russia’s shadow fleet

According to Robert Brovdy, overnight Ukrainian drone operators struck:

  • 7 tankers;
  • 5 dry cargo ships;
  • 1 ferry;
  • 2 tugboats.

In total, from July 6 to 13, 105 Russian vessels used to support military logistics and circumvent international sanctions came under attack by the Unmanned Systems Forces.

“Operation ‘MoLoChKa’ will continue until the Russian Federation’s shadow fleet is listed in the Red Book of the Sea of Azov. So far—105 yellow and red cards, the quarterfinals have been held…,” the statement reads.

Why Ukraine Is Attacking Russia’s Shadow Fleet

Russia’s so-called shadow fleet consists of hundreds of tankers and other vessels used to export Russian oil in circumvention of international sanctions.

Revenue from the sale of energy resources remains one of the main sources of funding for Russia’s war against Ukraine.

The Unmanned Systems Forces note that a large-scale campaign to destroy the logistics of the shadow fleet has been underway since June 2026 and covers the waters around the temporarily occupied Crimea.
