Traffic at the border with Moldova will be temporarily restricted due to repairs: drivers are advised to use other border crossings
13 July 10:48
Starting July 13, temporary traffic restrictions will be in place at the “Mogyliv-Podilskyi–Otach” international border crossing on the Ukrainian-Moldovan border. This is due to repair work that will be carried out on the Moldovan side. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian", citing the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
Delays are possible at the “Mogyliv-Podilskyi–Otach” border crossing
According to the State Border Guard Service, repair work will begin on the Moldovan side at 12:00 p.m. on July 13, which may result in a temporary suspension of vehicle passage.
Border guards warn that the restrictions will remain in effect until the repair work is completed, so drivers should plan their routes in advance.
“Until the work is completed, vehicle traffic through this checkpoint may be suspended,” the State Border Guard Service reported.
Which border crossings are recommended
To avoid traffic jams and long waits, the State Border Guard Service recommends using alternative routes.
In particular, you can cross the border via:
- “Bronnytsia – Ungur”;
- “Sokyryany – Oknytsia.”
It is especially important for drivers of passenger cars, buses, and trucks planning trips to Moldova in the coming days to take these changes into account.
