Where Did Ukraine Export the Most Eggs?
European countries were the main buyers of Ukrainian eggs in the first five months of 2026.
The largest shares of exports went to:
- Spain — 28.1%;
- United Kingdom — 14%;
- Poland — 9.4%;
- Israel — 7.3%.
Overall, European Union countries accounted for about 75% of all Ukrainian egg exports.
Why the EU Has Become the Main Market for Ukrainian Eggs
European Union countries remain a key destination for Ukrainian agricultural exports. For egg producers, this market is important due to stable demand, favorable logistics, and trade conditions.
The growth in shipments to the EU also demonstrates the competitiveness of Ukrainian products in the European market. Ukrainian eggs are actively purchased by countries with high demand for food products and stable import channels.
Why Revenue Increased
Revenue from egg exports grew faster than the physical volume of shipments. While the number of eggs exported in the first five months increased by 22%, revenue rose by 64%.
This may indicate higher export prices, a change in the structure of shipments, or more favorable sales terms in foreign markets.
For Ukrainian producers, this is a positive sign, as the growth in foreign currency revenue supports the industry and strengthens Ukraine’s position in the international food market.
