Already 2,020 items: the list of software and communications equipment prohibited for use has been expanded

The State Special Communications Service has expanded the list of software and communications (network) equipment prohibited for use. According to "Komersant Ukrainian", citing the Government Portal, the list has been expanded from 1,770 to 2,020 items following the latest update.
The update was carried out based on the results of systematic work by the Department of State Control in the Field of Information Security and Cybersecurity of the State Special Communications Service Administration, which analyzed existing and new decisions of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine enacted by decrees of the President of Ukraine.
The 250 new items include software and communications equipment from Izhevsk Radio Plant LLC (IRZ), software products from Top Systems CJSC, and software solutions from Rakurs JSC.

The list has been expanded to include IRZ solutions covering embedded system software for routers, software suites for aggregating communication channels, centralized monitoring and control of equipment, data collection, configuration, modem dispatch and diagnostics.
The list also includes a wide range of industrial communications equipment: 3G/4G/LTE routers, GSM/GPRS and LTE modems, IoT communicators, radio modems, base stations, repeaters, DMR mobile radio systems, GLONASS/GPS navigation receivers, synchronization equipment, antenna amplifiers, interface adapters, switches, and interface converters.
A separate group of updates consists of products from Top Systems CJSC, specifically software solutions from the T-FLEX line. The list includes PLM, PDM, CAD, CAM, CAE, MBSE, MDM, CRM, WMS/SCM, EAM, and MES solutions, as well as systems for electronic document management, engineering data management, requirements, projects, risks, master data, metrology, maintenance, production planning, and production preparation.
This latest expansion of the List strengthens the state’s ability to identify and restrict the use of technological solutions from sanctioned manufacturers in telecommunications, industrial, engineering, manufacturing, and geoinformation infrastructure.
The inclusion of both communications equipment and integrated CAD/PLM/CAM/CAE and photogrammetric solutions enables a comprehensive assessment of risks to information resources, communications networks, critical technological processes, and geospatial data.
