Currency fluctuations continue: Dollar and euro exchange rates as of April 24

Following a one-day decline, the National Bank of Ukraine raised the official dollar exchange rate again as of April 24, 2026. At the same time, the euro continued to depreciate, although the decline was moderate. This is evidenced by updated data on the regulator’s website, according to "Komersant Ukrainian"
Thus, the currency market remains volatile: the U.S. dollar is recovering from its previous decline, while the euro is retreating after its recent peak.
What is the dollar exchange rate on April 24
The National Bank set the official US dollar exchange rate for April 24 at 43.9412 UAH per dollar.
For comparison, on April 23, the rate was 43.8873 UAH per dollar, meaning the US dollar gained 0.0539 UAH, or approximately 5 kopecks, over the course of the day.
This means that after a brief drop, the dollar has risen again, although the increase has not yet fully offset the previous fluctuations of the last few days.
What is the euro exchange rate on April 24
The official euro exchange rate on April 24 was set at 51.3804 UAH per euro.
A day earlier, it stood at 51.4974 UAH per euro, meaning the European currency fell by another 0.1170 UAH, or nearly 12 kopecks.
Thus, the euro continued its decline following the previous surge and fell below the 51.4 UAH mark again.

What is the zloty exchange rate as of April 24
Along with the euro, the Polish zloty exchange rate also continued to fluctuate. On April 24, the National Bank set it at 12.1043 UAH per 1 zloty.
This is slightly lower than the previous day.
The NBU’s official exchange rates as of April 24 are as follows:
- 1 US dollar — 43.9412 UAH
- 1 euro — 51.3804 UAH
- 1 Polish zloty — 12.1043 UAH
In other words, the hryvnia weakened against the dollar but strengthened against the euro and the zloty.
