A WOG warehouse was destroyed as a result of Russian missile strikes, WOG CEO and former Minister of Infrastructure Andriy Pyvovarskyi reported on Facebook, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
“We no longer have a warehouse. The material and financial losses are significant. But most importantly, no one was killed. Everyone is accounted for,” Pyvovarsky wrote.
He asked for understanding if some items are temporarily out of stock at certain stores in the chain in the coming days.
“We are already working to ensure that the impact of this situation on our customers is minimal,” Pyvovarsky concluded.
As a reminder, on the night of Sunday, July 19, Russian troops launched a massive ballistic missile attack; one person was killed in Kyiv, and five others were injured. Nine of the 15 injured are currently in hospitals. One of the largest logistics complexes near Kyiv—Amtel, with an area of 100,200 square meters in the Bucha district—was destroyed, and the main warehouse of the Winetime wine market chain was damaged after being struck by eight ballistic missiles.
The production facilities of UKRTAC, a member of the National Association of the Defense Industry of Ukraine (NAUDI), were completely destroyed, and the office and logistics center of Coffeeton, an importer of green coffee, was damaged.
In addition, the warehouse of the “Knygolav” publishing house was destroyed. Nearly 250,000 books were lost.
