Russian forces launched a drone strike using “Shahed”-type drones against an industrial facility in Kryvyi Rih. This was reported by Oleksandr Vilkul, head of the Kryvyi Rih Defense Council, according to "Komersant Ukrainian"

“The enemy launched a Shahed strike on an industrial infrastructure facility. Thank God—no casualties,” Vilkul wrote.

He also added that efforts to address the aftermath of the attack have already begun.

Impact on Energy Infrastructure

The DTEK Group reported that as a result of the Russian attack on the night of June 8, more than 30,000 consumers in the Dnipropetrovsk region were left without power.

The Russians attacked the region’s energy infrastructure over the weekend, but after each attack, energy workers restored power.

“However, on the night of June 8, the enemy struck again. Sixty-seven settlements—more than 30,000 families—were left without electricity,” the statement said.
