On the night of April 26–27, Russian occupiers launched a massive drone attack on Odesa. Fires broke out at the sites of the enemy attacks, and damage has been reported. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian", citing a Telegram post by Serhiy Lysak, head of the Odesa City Military Administration, and the channel of Oleg Kipper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration.
“Odesa is under a massive enemy attack. Preliminary reports indicate a residential building was hit. We are gathering all the information,” Lysak’s message stated.
A few minutes later, Oleg Kipper clarified that the preliminary damage was more extensive. Specifically, at least several structures were damaged.
“According to preliminary information, a residential building, a hotel, and private vehicles were damaged as a result of the enemy attack on Odesa. Unfortunately, there are reports of casualties. Debris from a UAV has also been found within the city limits. Local fires broke out at the sites of the incidents,” he said.
In total, at least 13 people were injured in Odesa as a result of the Russian attack. Meanwhile, the Odesa Regional Military Administration reported on further consequences of the attack.
“Damage to civilian infrastructure has been recorded in several areas of the city, including two residential buildings, a hotel, warehouses, and vehicles,” Kipper said.
As a reminder, on the night of April 26, the Russians again attempted to attack the Odesa region with drones. As a result of the attack, port and logistics infrastructure facilities, warehouses, cargo storage tanks, administrative buildings, and freight vehicles were damaged.
