Arsen Zhumadilov, head of the Defense Procurement Agency (DPA), is expected to step down in the coming weeks. This was reported by journalist Tatyana Nikolaenko, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".

According to her, Zhumadilov is “clearly working out his final weeks” at the DPA.

“Everything was leading up to this. I had my doubts as to whether the fact that the defense minister had also already been dismissed would influence this decision. It didn’t,” Nikolaenko wrote.

Following Zhumadilov’s resignation, the AOZ will, according to her information, be headed by an acting director. After that, a competition will be held to select a permanent director for the agency.

Nikolaenko also predicts personnel changes at the AOZ: Zhumadilov’s team may follow him out.

“And this is yet another source of turmoil for the agency, because he mercilessly pushed outsiders out of it,” the journalist noted.

She also offered a critical assessment of certain aspects of Zhumadilov’s work and the agency’s level of transparency. In particular, Nikolaenko noted that since last year, the agency has classified a significant portion of the data that could be used to evaluate the effectiveness of its management.
