As a result of a massive Russian missile attack on the night of May 24, the “Ukraine” and “Dnipro” hotels in central Kyiv—both part of Maxim Krippa’s ARS Capital holding company—were damaged. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian", citing Interfax-Ukraine.

According to preliminary data, the blast wave caused serious damage to the buildings: dozens of window and balcony units were blown out in the hotels, facades were damaged, and interior spaces and part of the guest rooms were damaged.

In some areas, decorative elements collapsed, and ceilings, door frames, and utility systems were damaged. Glass shards and fragments of the facade scattered across the surrounding area, damaging guests’ vehicles.

The holding company noted that at the time of the attack, hotel staff and guests followed safety protocols and quickly took shelter, which prevented any casualties or injuries.

Immediately after the attack, the hotels established an emergency response headquarters, inspected the rooms and common areas, and began cleaning up the aftermath of the shelling. A detailed assessment of the damage is currently underway. According to preliminary information, the damage is significant and will require repairs to the facade, window structures, and some interior spaces.

The holding company also emphasized that despite yet another attack on the capital, the Hotel Ukraine continues to operate as usual to the extent permitted by the security situation, and the team is doing everything possible to ensure the comfort and safety of guests.
