According to the State Statistics Service, in March, the average salary of full-time employees across Ukraine exceeded the 30,000 hryvnia mark for the first time in recent history.

Compared to February, when the average salary was 28,321 hryvnias, the figure rose by 7.2%.

Where are the highest salaries in Ukraine
The highest average salary in March was recorded in Kyiv. In the capital, full-time employees earned an average of 49,381 UAH.
In second place is the Kyiv region, where the average salary was 29,997 UAH.

Where salaries are lowest
The lowest average salaries in March were recorded in the Kirovohrad and Chernivtsi regions.

Which sectors pay the most
The highest wages in March were observed in the information and telecommunications sector. The average salary in this sector was 85,673 UAH.
This sector traditionally has high earnings due to demand for IT specialists, digital services, telecommunications, cybersecurity, and export services.

Where salaries are lowest by industry
The lowest salaries were recorded in the education sector. There, the average was 19,394 UAH.
This demonstrates a significant gap between high-tech sectors and social sectors, where wage levels remain below the national average.

Wage arrears
