What is the dollar exchange rate on June 3

The National Bank set the official US dollar exchange rate for Wednesday, June 3, at 44.3399 UAH per dollar. This is the highest official dollar exchange rate recorded in Ukraine to date.

According to NBU data, the official hryvnia exchange rate as of June 3 was set at this level specifically for accounting purposes, NBU transactions with the State Treasury Service of Ukraine, and in other cases defined by Ukrainian law.

The rise of the dollar signals a further weakening of the hryvnia. This is an important signal for the market, as the dollar exchange rate traditionally influences imports, prices for fuel, equipment, medicines, and some everyday goods.

What is the euro exchange rate as of June 3

The euro also continued to rise. As of June 3, the official exchange rate of the European currency was set at 51.6604 UAH per 1 euro.

Thus, the hryvnia has lost ground against the euro as well. Against the backdrop of simultaneous appreciation of the two major currencies, this indicates that pressure on the national currency remains.
