Jewelry that miraculously survived a Russian missile strike on the “Kvadrat” shopping center near the Lukyanivska metro station has been put up for auction in Kyiv. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian", citing the TV channel “Kyiv-24.

The items in question are 40 charred rings that the daughter of the owner of a jewelry store—which was destroyed in the attack—managed to find amid the ashes and debris.

The jewelry store had been operating in the shopping center for 22 years. For the family, it was their only point of sale, their main source of income, and the business into which the owner had poured all her energy, time, and soul.

After a Russian missile struck, the shopping center suffered significant damage, and the store was completely gutted by fire.

After the explosion and fire, the shop effectively ceased to exist.

Despite the extensive destruction, some of the jewelry was found amid the charred structures, concrete, and ash. They bore traces of fire but survived the impact.

The shop owner’s daughter decided not only to save the jewelry she found but to give it a new story. She put 40 of the rescued rings up for a charity auction.

The starting price for each piece of jewelry is 100 hryvnias. In this way, the family is trying to raise funds to help the mother cope with the loss of her business and start a new venture from scratch.

All the money raised during the auction is planned to be used to support the owner of the destroyed jewelry store. This is not just about financial assistance, but also about giving her a chance to recover emotionally from what she has been through and get back on her feet.

The story of the rescued rings has become a symbol of how, in the wake of Russian attacks, people are trying to preserve at least a part of their labor, memories, and the lives they have built over the years.
