Russian drones struck a gas station and a business in the Poltava region: details of the attack

On the evening of August 9, Russian occupation forces launched drone strikes on several targets in the Poltava district. Gas stations, an industrial facility, and a private residence were hit. Fires broke out at the sites of the strikes.
This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian", citing Vitaliy Dyakivnych, head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration.
According to the Poltava Regional Military Administration, Russian drones struck several targets within the Poltava district.
The following were damaged:
- gas stations;
- an industrial facility;
- a private residence.
Fires broke out at several locations following the strikes. They were extinguished by State Emergency Service units.

Are there any casualties?
According to emergency services as of the morning of August 10, there have been no reports of injuries or fatalities resulting from the attack.
The exact extent of the damage and the amount of losses incurred have not yet been disclosed.
Rescue workers were on the scene at several strike sites simultaneously. All fires that broke out after the Russian drones struck were successfully extinguished.
Law enforcement and relevant agencies continue to assess the aftermath of the attack.
Gas stations are increasingly coming under Russian attack
Recently, Russian forces have repeatedly attacked gas stations and fuel infrastructure in various regions of Ukraine. In particular, strikes on gas stations have previously been reported in the Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv regions.
The attack on the Poltava region marks yet another instance in which fuel, industrial, and residential infrastructure were all affected simultaneously.
