Garik Korogodsky made the ice rink free for Kyiv residents following a massive nighttime attack

Businessman and philanthropist Garik Korogodsky announced a day of free admission to the ice rink at the DREAM shopping mall in the capital following another night of heavy shelling. He shared this news on his social media pages, expressing his condolences to the families of those killed and injured, according to "Komersant Ukrainian"
“A difficult night in Kyiv. There are dead and wounded. My condolences. We cannot stop what is flying at us. We cannot stop the war. But we can invite you to the ice rink,” Korogodsky wrote.
Traditionally, after every “eventful” night in Kyiv, the venue offers free admission all day long. The businessman believes this allows residents to unwind emotionally and find support.
“Come on over, everyone,” the businessman added.

Massive Russian attack
The night of May 14 was one of the most difficult for Kyiv residents.
According to the Air Force, the main target of the Russian strike was Kyiv. Fires and destruction were reported in various districts of the capital. Residential buildings and civilian infrastructure were damaged.
Oleksiy Kuleba reported that one person was killed in Kyiv as a result of the attack, and more than 30 others were wounded.
In the Darnytskyi district, cleanup efforts are underway ; a high-rise building has been destroyed, and people may be trapped under the rubble.
As a result of the missile attack in the Darnytskyi district, damage was reported at the “Kharok” shopping center, where windows were shattered and facades were damaged.
There are casualties and injuries in various parts of the city due to falling debris from enemy missiles.
