Russian attack on Poltava Oblast: industrial equipment damaged, 1,000 customers left without gas

On the night of May 14, Russian occupation forces launched a combined strike on the Kremenchuk district of Poltava Oblast. The enemy’s main targets were the industrial sector and civilian infrastructure. This was reported by the Poltava Regional State Administration, according to "Komersant Ukrainian"
According to preliminary data, technological equipment and vehicles were damaged at one of the industrial enterprises.
Damage to private homes was also reported at two locations.
As a result of the nighttime attack, approximately 1,000 customers in several settlements across the region were left without gas service.

In addition, more than 2,000 consumers are without electricity. Specialists are already working to restore the damaged networks.
This attack was part of a massive shelling of Ukraine on May 14. Poltava Oblast, as one of Ukraine’s industrial regions, continues to face systematic pressure: just the day before, on May 13, shelling of the Poltava community damaged 11 high-rise buildings, and previous attacks in April resulted in injuries to civilians, including children.
Massive Russian Attack
According to the Air Force, the main target of the Russian strike was Kyiv. Fires and destruction were reported in various districts of the capital. Residential buildings and civilian infrastructure were damaged.
Oleksiy Kuleba reported that one person was killed in Kyiv as a result of the attack, and more than 30 others were injured.
In the Darnytskyi district, cleanup efforts are underway ; a high-rise building has been destroyed, and people may be trapped under the rubble.
